Medica-Help is committed to respecting the privacy rights of our customers.

Personal Information Collected
In order to send the Second Opinion Request through our website, you need to provide us with information about your person. Please note that the sole purpose of receiving your information is to be able to provide you with our services and to forward your information to the doctor assigned to your case only.

The information includes contact data such as e-mail address and phone number as well as demographic data about your gender and your date of birth as well as other medical information such as your reason for contacting us and your medical questions.

Please note that in the first step you should only provide a minimum of medical information that allows us to forward your case to the right doctor. You should avoid to ask detailled questions and provide a detailled description of your case. You will have the possibility to place all your questions and give detailled explanation about your case to the doctor directly later. The first information will be received for evaluation to assign you to the right doctor.

Medica-Help will not save any medical data except the data necessary to forward to the right doctor.

 

Medica-Help does not share, sell, rent or trade your personal information with any third parties for their promotional purposes. Medica-Help will keep your personal information private and will not share it with third parties, unless we believe in good faith that disclosure of your personal information or any other information we collect about you is necessary to: (1) comply with a court order or other legal process; (2) protect the rights, property or safety of Medica-Help or another party; (3) enforce our Terms of Use; or (4) respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties.

Information Provided on Behalf of Children
Medica-Help does not collect information from children. It is not allowed for children to use our website and provide us with their information. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor child, you may contact us in compliance with the Terms of Use the Site or Services on behalf of a child. Any information that you provide while using the website and our service on behalf of your minor child will be treated as personal information as otherwise provided herein.

 

Deletion of Data

Your data will only be saved until you have received the services you have requested and after the billing is process is completed. Afterwards your personal data will be deleted.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of Online Medical Consultancy at any time and ask for your data to be deleted. However, this implies that we will not be able to provide you with our services anymore.

Although every effort will be made to generate a second opinion report in reasonably timely fashion, Medica-Help makes no representation or warranty as to the timeframe in which such second opinion report will be generated.

You understand that the technical processing and transmission of any website content may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Please be advised that we do not guarantee that any information sent from our website will be secured during transmission, nor can we guarantee the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to Medica-Help via the website or the Internet, including, for example, personal information such as your name or address.

All legal relationships between Medica-Help, the affiliated doctors and the patients will be governed unexceptionally under German Law. The court of jurisdiction is Duesseldorf, Germany. 
 

By using our site, you agree to the Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy. Medica-Help is not a medical service provider, but helps you to receive medical advice through connecting you to specialized doctors in Germany. The information or services on this site and the second opinion report are designed only to support, and not to replace any relationship between the patient or site user and his/her doctor.
